Who We Are
Welcome to the home of Under An English Sky Yarns. My name is Shirley-Ann and I hand-dye luxury yarns from my studio in Cheshire. Under An English Sky Yarns was established in 2015 and was inspired by the desire to establish a homespun creative business that reflected my love of traditional needle crafts and fibre. We would have loved to have farmed the land, raised our own livestock and utilised and processed the fleece from start to finish. It remains a dream and goal to live a simple and sustainable life off the land but for now, I am embracing my suburban reality and producing yarn and accessories that bring joy to the hearts of knitters and crafters worldwide.
2027 Yarn Show Calendar
After a two-year hiatus, Under An English Sky Yarns is returning to the indie yarn market! Our first public appearance in 2027 will be at the North West Winter Wool Festival in Blackpool in February. We hope to see you there!
